The U.S. General Services Administration has issued GSA Contract Number GS-25F-0037P to microMEDIA for SIN 51-506 - Document Conversion Services.  These functions include scanning of paper documents, microfilm, microfiche and aperture cards along with automated and manual indexing.  Data is delivered to government agencies in a variety of formats including Adobe PDF and formatted to commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) imaging systems.  The availability of microMEDIA's GSA Schedule is opportune for government continuity of operations (COOP) planning.  More information.

Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center is implementing a major automation project that will convert all of its collection of Donor Files to a currently installed FileNet Imaging System.  The conversion procedures were developed by microMEDIA in close consultation with the hospital's management.   The workflow is predicated on collaboration of the necessary steps between Memorial Sloan-Kettering personnel and microMEDIA technicians.  Extensive use of barcodes minimizes the overall cost.
