When document management and archiving expert Michael JD Sutton, PhD, published “Document Management for the Enterprise: Principles, Techniques and Applications” that year, he forecast the need for knowledge workers to solve this evolving corporate challenge. 15 years later, the volume of documents, images and emails has grown substantially.
We sat down with Sutton to find out how far digital document management and archiving has come since then.
